The C-Slab Grabber is the perfect solution for installing a guardrail system on concrete decking. This specially designed OSHA-compliant slab grabber guardrail system ensures maximum spacing and fall protection for construction sites while meeting safety regulations.

Use C-Slab Grabber guardrail posts to build an ANSI-compliant guardrail system at your construction site (8′ span, 12″ overlap required for wooden safety rails). This temporary edge protection system provides a secure top rail for fall protection systems.

Note: The new guardrail system is upgraded to accommodate overlapping 2×4’s or 2×6’s with a steel separator slot.

C-Slab Grabber guardrail posts are compatible with 2×4 or 2×6 construction-grade lumber.

  •  Top rail height: 42” (+/- 3”) above the work surface, not the parapet
  •  Mid-rails: Must be halfway between the top edge and the working surface
  •  Toe boards: Required on sloped surfaces of 4/12 (vertical/horizontal) or where tools, equipment, and materials pose a falling hazard
  •  Toe board size: Minimum 3-1/2 inch height, with no more than 1/4-inch clearance from the work surface
